The Verathon BladderScan BVI 9400 is a portable ultrasound scanner dedicated to the non-invasive measurement of urine volume in the bladder .
 Thanks to its 3D ultrasound technology and automated image processing, it allows for a rapid estimation of bladder volume without urinary catheterization. The device is particularly suited for evaluating urinary retention and post-void residual volume in urology, emergency departments, intensive care units, post-operative care, and other healthcare settings.
 The BVI 9400 uses a handheld ultrasound probe that automatically performs a multidirectional analysis to reconstruct a three-dimensional representation of the bladder and calculate its volume. The result is obtained in seconds and displayed on the integrated color screen.
 The device also has an integrated thermal printer for saving or printing test results.
